Agent Secret Capsule is open-source software provided under the MIT License. By using it, you accept these terms and the security boundary described below.

Your responsibility

You choose which credential and command to authorize. Use least-privilege credentials, inspect command and network scope, and comply with the terms of any upstream service. Do not use the product to access systems without authorization.

Security boundary

Output redaction reduces accidental disclosure; it does not make hostile code safe. An authorized subprocess can transmit, transform, write, or pass a secret to children. No redaction system can cover every transformation. Use an appropriate sandbox in addition to this tool.

Supporter license

The optional supporter license costs $19 as a one-time purchase and unlocks the team rollout kit plus lifetime product updates. Core keychain storage, leases, redaction, receipts, and accessibility remain free. Sociobot/Dodo is the merchant of record. Refunds are handled there; a refund revokes the associated license automatically.

No warranty

The software is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind, as stated in the MIT License. To the maximum extent allowed by law, the authors are not liable for credential exposure, service interruption, or indirect damages arising from use.
